Radish is an excellent source of vitamin C and folic acid.
Many people do not like to eat radish because of its pungent smell. But this curry eradicated radish’s smell because of the palaks additions n it tasted grt and importantly my hubby liked it.
Also adding onion, tomatoes, garlic and fresh coriander eradicates the strong smell of radish and makes it light and tasty.
This curry goes well with any kind of Indian bread i served with roti.
1 – Bunch Palak chopped
2 – Radish chopped
1 – Onion chopped
2 – Tomatoes chopped
1 tsp – Coriander leaves chopped
3 – Garlic crushed
½ tsp – Cumin seeds
¼ tsp – Turmeric Powder
1 tsp- Red Chilli Powder
1 tbsp – Cooking oil
1 tsp -Salt
1 cup – Water
Wash and chop the Spinach and radish.
In a heavy bottomed pan add oil once it is hot add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
Now add the onion, garlic and coriander leaves let them sauté once they turn golden in color add tomatoes and stir it.
Now add chopped palak and radish sauté it.
Add the red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt add water mix it and close the lid, let it cook for 5-7 minutes.
The curry is ready to be served with roti or paratha’s.
