Oats Paneer Kofta – Gravy

Koftas are rolled into desired shapes and they can be fried, steamed or baked as per our wish.I did few changes in my koftas added oats to the usual paneer kofta and it worked well.

Ingredients:

For Kofta
1 cup – Oats powdered
1 cup -Paneer crumbled
1 tbsp –Fresh Coriander finely chopped
1 – Green chilly finely chopped
1 tsp – Ginger finely chopped
1 tbsp – Gram Flour
½ tsp – Red Chilli Powder
¼ tsp – Cumin Powder
¾ tsp – Salt
Oil to fry

For Gravy
2 – Onions finely chopped
1 – Tomato finely chopped
¼ cup – Tomato puree
1 tsp – Ginger and Garlic paste
10 nos – Cashew nut made to smooth paste with ¼ cup milk
1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
½ tsp – Turmeric Powder
¼ tsp – Coriander Powder
¼ tsp – Cumin Powder
¼ tsp – Garam Masala Powder
1 tsp – Salt
1 tbsp – Low Fat Butter

Method:

For Kofta

Mix all the above mentioned ingredients for kofta except oil.

In a pan, heat oil and fry the koftas. 
For Gravy

In pan heat butter add onion, ginger garlic paste and fry till onions are done and then followed by tomato and tomato puree.

Cook till tomatoes soften add spice powders and nuts paste, add water to the gravy if required, cover and cook till oil separates approx 7 min           

Add koftas 5 – 10 minutes before serving.
