Marinara sauce is one of the most simple to make and delicious pasta sauce. This can be well made in advanced and refrigerated. No flour or cheese is used in making this pasta sauce. Milkgfives a nice creamy texture to this sauce.
1 cup – Any Pasta cooked as per instructions on pack
1 cup – Tomato Puree
1 cup – Milk (preferably full fat)
1 – Onion, Finely chopped
3 cloves – Garlic, chopped
1/2 cup – Cheddar / Parmesan Cheese, grated
1/2 tsp – Red chilli flakes
1 tsp – Italian Seasoning
1 tbsp – Olive Oil
1 tbsp – Butter
Fresh Basil, Chopped
Salt and Pepper
How to make:
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rest aside.
Heat butter and oil add onion and garlic and saute for a minute. Add in tomato sauce, Italian seasonings, salt, pepper, and red chilli flakes.
Stir and cook over low heat for approx 7 – 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and add cream, cheese and basil.
Add pasta and serve hot!!!
