Paneer Shawarma Wrap with Hummus n Low cal dressing

Wraps for dinner is a complete meal with required fiber and nutrients. Hummus rich in protein and low cal dressing gives an awesome taste to the wrap.  Recipe Source – Tarla Dalal, few changes as per req.

Ingredients for Paneer Shawarma:
1 cup – Paneer
1 – Onion, roughly chopped
1 tsp – Cumin seeds
1/4 tsp – Cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp – Lemon juice
4 – Green chillies, chopped
Few sprigs fresh coriander
1 tsp – Oil
Salt
Method for the paneer shavarma:
Grind together all the ingredients, other than the paneer and oil, into a smooth paste.

Apply the paste on the paneer and marinate for 10 mins.Heat the oil in a pan sauté the marinated paneer cubes for 2 to 3 minutes, till it turns golden in color. Remove and keep aside.

Ingredients for Hummus:
1/2 cup – Chick peas, boiled
1/4 tsp – Garlic, chopped
¼ tsp – Red chilly powder
1/4 tsp – lemon juice
1 tbsp – olive oil
Salt

Method:
Combine all the ingredients and blend in a mixer till smooth.

Ingredients for Low-fat dressing:
1 cup – Hung low-fat curd
½ tsp – Powdered sugar
3/4 tsp – Black pepper powder
1 tsp – Olive oil

Combine all the ingredients and blend in a mixer till smooth.

Ingredients for wrap:

2 – Chapatis
1 cup – Prepared paneer shawarma
1 – Tomato, thinly sliced
1 – Onion, thinly sliced
½ – Cucumber, thinly sliced
½ cup – Hummus
¼ cup – Low fat dressing

How to proceed:
Heat the chapatti, apply the hummus, place the paneer in the centre, place the thinly sliced veggies add tsp of low fat dressing on top and roll the chapati.
