Broccoli Babycorn Korma

Simple but yummy korma with babycorn and broccoli makes a wonderful side dish for any indian bread.
1 cup – Broccoli Florets, boiled
1 cup – Baby Corn, boiled
1 – Bay Leaf
1 – Elaichi
A small piece of Cinnamon
2 – Cloves
½ tsp – Garam Masala Powder
¼ tsp – Turmeric Powder
2 tbsp – Oil or Ghee (optional)
Salt  as reqd
Coriander Leaves (for garnishing)

To paste 1:
2 – Onions
2 – Tomatoes
½ tsp -Ginger, chopped
1 tsp – Garlic, chopped

To paste 2:
¼ cup – Grated coconut
10 – Cashew Nuts (soaked for 2 hours)

½ tsp – Fennel Seeds 

How to make:
Heat oil in a pan add bay leaf, elaichi, cinnamon and cloves
add the onion paste and mix it well.

Add turmeric powder, salt and garam masala powder mix them
well and sauté in low heat for 8 – 10 mins if reqd add water.

Add the cooked baby corn and broccoli and add the paste 2
and boil till the gravy becomes thick.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with any Indian bread.

    I love baby-corn and broccoli.
    Never thought of making curry out of broccoli, I have it boiled only. This recipe is nice 🙂 Will try it soon and let you know.
