Plum Tabbouleh


This is a scrumptious and filling salad and too quick to make. Got this recipe from cooking show @ TLC. 

 What you need:
1 cup – Bulgur / Couscous
1 cup – Salted boiling water
4 nos – Ripe Plums, pitted and finely chopped
1/4 cup – Onions,finely chopped
1/4 cup – Ripe Tomatoes, finely chopped
1 no – Green chilly, finely chopped
4 sprigs – Mint, finely chopped
4 sprigs – Coriander, finely chopped
1 tbsp – Juice of lemon
2 tbsp – Olive oil
Salt as reqd
Black pepper as reqd


How to make:
Add boiling water till the bulgur is soaked, cover and set for 10 – 15 mins.


In a salad bowl add all the other ingredients and mix them well.


Fluff bulgar with a fork. Now add bulgur to the bowl toss them and serve.
