Radish Greens Dal Tadka

Love the long greens which comes with radish. They make awesome combo with dal. This is such a comfort food and healthy one. 

What you need:

2 cups – Radish greens (chopped with stalks)
1/2 cup – Moong dal
1/4 cup – Toor dal
1/4 cup – Masoor dal
1 no – Onion (finely chopped)
2 nos – Tomatoes (chopped)
1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp – Red chilly powder
1/2 tsp – Mustard seeds
1 tsp – Cumin seeds
1/4 tsp – Asafoetida powder
4 nos – Garlic pods(crushed)
2 nos – Dry red chillies
2 sprig – Curry leaves
Salt as reqd

1 tsp – Oil 

How to make:

Cook dal with tomatoes and turmeric powder in 3 cups water in pressure cooker for 5 whistles. 

Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds,cumin seeds, asafoetida powder, curry leaves, red chillies, garlic pods saute well add onions and radish greens mix well and cook until they are cooked.

Now add dal mixture, chilli powder, salt, water and let it come to a boil and switch it off. Serve hot with rice or indian bread.
