Corn savory bread / squares these makes a great tea time snack. Not a fan of sweet bakes but definitely a big yes to savory goodies.
Skipped sugar and made a complete savory version which was perfect ith hot green tea.
What u need:
Cornmeal – 1/4 cup
Corn kernels -1/2 cup, cooked and drained
Italian seasoning – 1 tsp
Milk – 1/2 cup
Vegetable oil – 1 and 1/2 tbsp
Egg – 1 no
Sugar – a pinch
Baking powder – 1 and 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli flakes – ¼ tsp
Green chilli – 1 tbsp, finely chopped
Coriander – 1 tbsp, finely chopped
Salt – ½ tsp
Allow to cool and serve warm with low cal homemade spread.
