Quick and nutritious dal with zucchini makes a meal comfort. Served with Phulka works wonder..

What you need:
1 cup – Zucchini, chopped
1/4 cup – Moong dal, soaked
1/4 cup – Thoor dal, soaked
1 no – Tomato, chopped
2 nos – Green chillies, slit open
1/2 cup – Mint leaves
1/4 cup – Coriander leaves
3 pods – Garlic, chopped
1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
1 tsp – Cumin seeds
2 nos – Dry Red chilies
1 tsp – Lemon juice
1 tsp – Olive oil
1/2 tsp – Desi Ghee
Gen pinch Asafoetida
Salt as reqd

How to make:
In a pressure cooker add soaked dals, tomatoes, green chillies n turmeric powder add water and pressure cook for 5 hisses. Once pressure down mix well and set aside.

Heat oil and ghee in a pan add cumin seeds saute them add red chillies, asafoetida, garlic saute well add zucchini, mint leaves cook for 3 mins and pour over the dal.

Add coriander leaves, lemon juice and serve it hot..
