MIXED VEGETABLES OATS SOUP makes a perfect low calorie tummy filler for dinner!! I prefer my soup with some crispy wheat crackers.
What you need:
Oats – 1/2 cup
Mixed veggies – 1 cup (carrots, peas, peppers, celery)
Onion – 1/2, finely chopped
Veg stock / Water – 1 cup
Milk – 1 cup
Olive oil – 1 tsp
Pepper as reqd
Salt as reqd
Fresh herbs – 2 tbsp finely chopped
How to make:
In a pan heat oil add onions, veggies, oats saute well add veg stock and cook until soft.
Add milk, salt, pepper powder and cook for a min and switch it off. Add finely chopped herbs and serve hot.
