SPROUTED RAGI IDLI

Had an amazing vacation and had loads and loads of high calorie food for all 3 meals.. So once i hit home soaked ragi sprouted em and ground the batter for idli.. n so now i am relieved.. My guilty feeling is now vanished..

What you need:
3 cups – Ragi (sprouted)
1 cup – Brown rice
1 cup – Red rice 
3/4 cup – Black urad dhal
1/2 tsp – Fenugreek seeds 
Salt as reqd


How to make:
Wash n soak ragi overnite next day drain the water, add them on a muslin cloth and hang it so that excess water is removed.. these will sprout in next 9 hours. 


Soak all above except ragi for 4 hrs and grind urad dhal first and then other ingredients now add sprouted ragi and grind to smooth batter mix both the batter add salt and ferment it.


Pour in idli moulds and make into soft idlies nxt day morning and serve it hot with idli podi n tomato kuzhambu n a glass of butter milk for breakfast..
