For this months SSh cooking challenge i was given rice flour n palm sugar by Nalini Suresh of Nalinis cooking.. Made Pumpkin Ondeh Ondeh a sooper simple malaysian delicacy.. it actually uses pandan leaves.. But made tis with the avbl ingredients.. I just loved tis sooper quick n yummy dessert ..

What you need:
2 cups – Rice flour
1 cup – Pumpkin
100 gms – Palm sugar
1 cup – White grated coconut
Salt as reqd

How to make:
Cut pumpkin in wedges. Steam pumpkin for 10 minutes or till soft and mash it.

In a bowl mix rice flour, mashed pumpkin n salt together, slowly add water into it and knead to a smooth dough. Pinch dough into small ball fill with palm sugar and roll into smooth ball again. 

Bring a pot of water to a boil and drop the balls in it and let it boil until it floats on top.

Roll the balls over the grated coconut and serve warm.
